Unboxing Lilith from Nocturna Models

Two weeks ago I unboxed the Elf Prince from Michael Kontraros and said was one of the most beautiful miniatures I own. I think this one gives him a run for his money.

Lilith is a 54mm scale resin miniature from Nocturna Models' Malefic Times line and since her release, she seems to have become a popular choice with painters.

She has three main areas - flesh, dress and wings, all of which are crafted brilliantly to give painters a great canvas to work on.

The arms come in a separate bag to the main miniature, while the main bag contains the main model, her wings and the display base.

The wings are a fairly nice fit but are relatively heavy, so they may require a little more to hold them in place than the tabs on them and super glue.

The final sprues - her arms and some form of jewels or nails that I've not quite worked out yet.

There is some fantastic detail on her, and I'm really looking forward to the challenge she presents - so many folds in the fabric look perfect for blending, while the wings are crying out for some form of pattern.

  1. Aren't the "jewels" the flames of the candles in the base?
